Safe State Solutions NORI · De-Escalation Training
About Us

Training that treats the conversation as the skill.

Safe State Solutions is the training technology division of Iron Temple Training Center. We build NORI because the most dangerous moments in healthcare, education, and public safety are usually decided by words — and words are the one thing most training never lets you practice.

The Framework

De-Escalate to Safe State: the 12 Points

Every NORI scenario is scored against our 12-point framework. Nine of the points are verbal and are graded digitally after every session — empathetic approach, professionalism, tone, "I" language, active listening, common ground, knowing your role, patience, and flexibility. The remaining three — safe space, body language, and recognizing signs of violence — are physical skills, taught and evaluated in instructor-led, in-person training.

Each verbal point breaks into three observable behaviors. Twenty-seven honest judgments, one transparent score.

How We Build Scenarios

Written with the people who live them

We don't invent crises from a conference room. Our children's hospital module was developed with input from working pediatric hospital educators. Our education and public safety programs follow the same rule: the people who face these conversations daily tell us what really happens, what works, and what backfires — and that becomes the character your team trains against.

What NORI Is

A live conversation simulator. Real-time spoken dialogue with AI characters, followed by evidence-based scoring your trainees can read line by line.

What NORI Isn't

A slideshow, a quiz, or a compliance checkbox. If a trainee can pass it without speaking, it isn't practice.

Privacy by Design

Built for sensitive environments

Sessions are never video- or audio-recorded. Conversation transcripts exist only long enough to be scored, then are automatically deleted. Scores and contact details are stored separately and can never be joined back to what was said. It's how we'd want our own worst five minutes handled.
